ACORE Finance West convenes a select group of prominent renewable energy executives, investors, corporate purchasers, and other top transactional professionals to assess recent developments, increase deal flow and maximize opportunities for financing and development of renewable energy in the Western U.S.

• Assess how emerging trends in corporate procurement, distributed generation, community solar, grid modernization and other market developments will impact a changing electricity marketplace and affect renewable energy finance and growth in western states;

• Discuss challenges in securing capital for the diverse range of renewable energy projects in the West, including small, mid-market, and large/utility scale;

• Identify financing mechanisms and policies that help reduce costs and promote deployment of integration and storage

• Examine how the changing policy and regulatory landscape will impact investment in renewables, including the recent tax credit extensions and related guidance, expanded RPS policies, legal uncertainty surrounding Clean Power Plan implementation strategies, and efforts to create a west-wide RTO.
