The California Solar Permitting Guidebook

The California Solar Permitting Guidebook sets standards for building departments to streamline permitting for solar installations. The fourth edition of the guidebook is based on the newly updated 2019 California Electrical Code and fire code considerations. The California Governor's Office of Planning and Research publishes the guidebook, and was provided technical assistance from the Sustainable Energy Action Committee.
