Permitting Assistance

At CALSSA, we work with California building departments to make permitting solar and storage projects faster, cheaper, and easier. We also offer support and guidance to our members facing permitting obstacles, such as:

• excessive permitting fees

• delays in plan approval and permit issuance

• cumbersome permitting processes

• codes & standards interpretation problems

If you need assistance, please send requests to permitting@calssa.org or call
(916) 228-4567, and provide the following information:

• Scope of Work (for example: 15kW PV + (2) 5kwh ESS residential ground
  mounted system)

• Jurisdiction*

• Description of the Issue

* Please note, the project must be in California for us to assist. We will do our best to respond within 2-3 business days.
