Come hear the latest on both commercial and residential from our California Solar & Storage Policy Director, Brad Heavner. Brad will also give a legislative wrap-up and discuss consequences for the industry. 

-Energy Storage Permitting: Energy storage is growing with projections of up to three gigawatts in the next five years on schools, farms, homes, nonprofits and businesses in California. What do the permitting rules look like for this technology? Come learn the ins and outs of navigating storage permitting from Steve Jones, Assistant Building Official for the City of Oceanside and the President of the Sustainable Energy Action Committee (SEAC). Steve will also briefly discuss the new fire code setback rules.
