San Diego Chapter Meeting

Please join us for a meeting of the San Diego Chapter of the California Solar & Storage Association at CED Greentech on March 11!

Refreshments and Food will be provided.

In addition to time for networking with others in the industry, our program will feature the following presentation:

California Solar Mandate: California Title 24, the regulation requiring solar to be installed as a standard feature on ever new home built in California, went into effect on January 1, 2020.  Do you have questions about it and what it might mean for your business?  Come learn about this important change to the building codes from a Gina Rodda, a representative from Energy Code Ace working in support of the California California Energy Commission.

CCAs: The new CCA in Southern California, San Diego Community Power (SDCP) is getting ready to open for business to serve 50 percent of SDG&E customers in 2021. A commitment to a 100 percent renewable energy increases opportunities for rooftop solar, energy storage, microgrids, and electric mobility. CALSSA will host Cody Hooven, Director/Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of San Diego and Interim CEO of SDCP along with Nicole Capretz, Executive Director of the Climate Action Campaign group, on a panel moderated by CALSSA member Cecilia Aguillon to discuss the opportunities to keep distributed generation growing under this new CCA market.

Thank you to our host, CED Greentech San Diego!
