Alameda County Building Official: Alameda County launched an online permitting platform that allows contractors to receive solar permits instantaneously. At the chapter meeting, Alan Tam, Building Official for the County, will walk through the new system and answer questions.
SolarAPP: Last year, the federal Department of Energy awarded the National Renewable Energy Laboratory a grant to develop the SolarAPP, a software platform for all jurisdictions to use for their solar permitting. Jurisdictions will begin adopting SolarAPP this fall!
