We need you in Sacramento on May 27 to help defeat AB 942!
AB 942 (Calderon) would break two million solar contracts by switching solar systems from NEM to NBT when the property is sold. This would reduce the value of the systems that customers installed based on a 20-year “guarantee” from the state. It would complicate property sales by pushing financing under water for many customers. This bill is likely to be up for a vote of the full California Assembly in early June, which may be one of our best shots to kill this bill.
We will gather on May 27 (NOT June 3) to show legislators as they go to their voting session the broad opposition to AB 942. We need as many people as possible to join us. We have changed the date to May 27 because our opponents bent the rules to rush a vote. It is now possible AB 942 comes up as early as Tuesday, May 27 for a full Assembly floor vote.
