BAND APPLICATION


RULES & INFORMATION – please read carefully!

General Information

This is an application to perform at Solar Battle of the Bands 2026 at Moonshine Flats, 344 Seventh Ave, San Diego, CA 92101 on Thursday, February 19, 2026. This application does not guarantee your band a position at the Event. Bands will be notified if selected. After confirmation, each participating band must pay band fee within 30 days. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event and the selection of another band. Applications are due no later than Friday, December 12, 2025.

Rules & Qualifications

The day of the Event, bands are to perform for approximately 20 minutes (exact times will be provided closer to the event). Covers and original songs are allowed. Bands must be at the venue and prepared to play at least 1 hour prior to their set time.  Bands must also check-in and load-in that afternoon (exact timing TBD, event schedule and more details to be provided once bands are chosen). Failure to comply with these rules will result in an immediate disqualification as well as exclusion from next year’s Event

Band Fee: $1,000

You will be invoiced by CALSSA when you are confirmed as a band. If you are a confirmed band and for any reason you cancel or do not perform, you will not receive a refund.

Band Package Includes:

  • Perform on professional quality stage in front of 500-1,000 solar professionals

  • Access to small green room immediately before set (musicians & staff only)

  • Pre and post-event publicity

  • Band name on SBOB website and SBOB T-shirt

  • Large company logo and/or band name digitally displayed on main wall during performance

  • 20 tickets to the event to give out at your discretion (band members don’t need a physical ticket)

  • Free SBOB 2026 T-Shirt for each band member
