Governor Gavin Newsom issued a statewide shelter in place order tonight. The order applies to all individuals and businesses except those considered "essential services." The order is to stay at home until further notice. The order includes general information about what activities are considered "essential" citing sixteen critical infrastructure sectors defined by the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) under the Department of Homeland Security. These services are defined as "assets, systems, and networks, whether physical or virtual, are considered so vital...that their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on security, economic security, public health or safety".
