CALSSA has received several questions from employers about whether they can require their employees to receive a COVID vaccine. The California Department of Fair Employment and Housing released guidance on this matter and the answer is yes with important caveats, such as accommodating those with sincerely-held religious beliefs and not retaliating against those engaged in protected activity, such as seeking reasonable accommodations.
